Obsidian - what a great way to manage your notes

Every successful person has their private knowledge base where they keep on accumulating knowledge. The better the structure of the knowledge, more optimally it could be retrived and utilised to achieve the desired goals.

Obsidian allows you to create notes, interlink them, pull all related notes together on a single page, has a feature to show various topics are interlinked which makes it interesting.

If you are an avid notes taker, do explore obsidian - https://obsidian.md/

There's an alternative software called Logseq which I am yet to explore - https://logseq.com/

Specific outcome based goals gets achieved over time, not the generalised things

I am fond of making a goals list which I absolutely love to check/ cross once these gets completed, one goal/ task at a time.

However looking back into old goals list made me realise that the goals that were specific were completed even if it took slightly longer time to achieve. The generalised goals for example - Master Python, Master SQL didn't get achieved because there isn't anything specific about it.

That's why the goals must be measurable so that you can see your progress overtime or else you would just keep on delaying achieving these goals no matter how important these are for you.

Best way to transfer photos and videos from your iPhone to MacBook / macOS is

If you are an iPhone user and if you take a lot of photographs and videos then surely you transfer it to your macBook. There are two ways - first through AirDrop and second through Photos app using lightening cable. Using AirDrop seems to be the most optimal way which results in lesser corruption as whenever I have tried massive amount of photos and videos using Photos app via lightening cable, it has always led to data corruption and irregularity.

Hence, if you want to transfer the photos and videos from your iPhone to macOS perhaps choosing AirDrop is the safest and best bet.

Bug in Google Calendar - Feature request for Google Calendar

Google shouldn’t let the main calendar rename — also dont let users delete the entire calendar.

There is a bug in Google Calendar. By default google calendar creates a default calendar and it further allows users to change the name of it.
