Wasted 10 hours of video export time by choosing a wrong export option in DaVinci Resolve | Video Editing Tips

Recently, while exporting a video project in DaVinci Resolve, I accidentally chose “Render as Individual Clips” instead of “Single Clip.” As a result, the software spent nearly 10 hours rendering hundreds of clips.

To make things worse, I hadn’t enabled the option to give each clip a unique ID. This caused DaVinci Resolve to keep overwriting the same files. So instead of ending up with hundreds of clips, I was left with just two.

It was a frustrating mistake, but also a great learning experience that I’ve now added to my workflow.
