There will be many people you would start admiring and adoring in your life, as mentor or role model. It's one of the greatest fee;omgs after all -- to look upto someone. 

At times, what would happen is, your political views/ religious beliefs on any topic may differe greatly. It's okay to have those differences. Accept the fact that it happens and the maturity is in to never discuss on that topic. That would ensure that the relationship would continue to be amicable which otherwise would get strainged over time and the charm in the relationship will get lost.
